Special reports by the Victorian Inspectorate

We make special reports to the Parliament on any matter relating to the performance of our duties and functions, including investigations.

We can make a special report on any matter relating to an integrity body as part of our functions under the Victorian Inspectorate Act 2011. A special report may highlight any issues identified and may include recommendations, for example, to improve the operations of integrity bodies.

We can produce a special report to:

  • highlight the issue
  • assess what happened
  • make recommendations to the body for future improvements
